USC IIE is a Viterbi Student Organization within the USC Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

IIE is great opportunity for Industrial and Systems Engineering majors to meet other students, network with company representatives, and learn more about how IE’s make a difference in the everyday world.

    USC IIE works with its members to enhance their experience as students at the USC. IIE strives to bring its members opportunities which provide them with valuable experiences, skills and a familiarity with industrial engineering and related professions.     Join the Institute of Industrial Engineers for the Rechtin Lecture featuring Dr. Radhika Kulkarni.  Dr. Kulkarni  is Vice President of Advanced Analytics R&D at SAS Institute Inc. She oversees software development in many analytical areas including Statistics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Forecasting and Data Mining. Kulkarni is an active member in the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) and serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute for Advanced Analytics at North Carolina State University, the Master of Science in Analytics Advisory Board at Georgia Tech and the Marketing Analytics and Data Mining Board at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Kulkarni is a recipient of the Women in Operations Research and the Management Sciences (WORMS) Award and was recognized as an INFORMS Fellow in 2014.

    The Engineering Management Student Association (EMSA) was established in 2012 to increase
    interaction between industry, alumni, students. and professors. 
    The objectives of the organization are :
    • Conduct information sessions and help students network with prospective employers
    • Contributing to the professional and personal growth of Engineering Management students
    • Attracting undergraduate and graduate level students to the major
    • Holding events that help our students and align with our goals as an organization
    • Increase interaction between students and industry professionals and increase awareness about degree specific job opportunities
    • Give Engineering Management students the chance to participate as a board member of a professional organization
