Graduate Stories
Giving Back is Top Priority for First Generation Student
Industrial and systems engineering class of 2021 senior Carlos Acosta is active in a range of student organizations, as well as much-needed volunteer relief efforts for his homeland of Venezuela. Acosta is also the winner of the 2021 Viterbi Outstanding Achievement by a Transfer Student Award.
Allison Zubeck: ISE Graduating Student Q&A
Graduating senior, Zubeck was an Eboard member of Robogals USC and will now go on to a role in the Los Angeles office of consulting firm Protiviti. Zubeck is also the winner of the ISE Department's Outstanding Undergraduate Student of the Year Award.
Stephanie Thrift: ISE Graduating Student Q&A
Thrift has been involved with Engineers Without Borders, Women in Engineering and has worked with USC’s Center for Sustainability Solutions on plans to reduce USC’s carbon footprint. Thrift is also the winner of the 2021 USC Viterbi Women in Engineering Award.
Hannah Mulroe: ISE Graduating Student Q&A
Mulroe has been researching the impact of digital health interventions on the quality of care for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Mulroe is also the winner of the 2021 USC Viterbi Award for Outstanding Achievement in Leadership.
