Doctoral Admission
Applicants to the Epstein ISE Department Doctoral Program should complete their applications by December 15 to be considered for fellowship support in the following Fall. Applications submitted after this deadline likely will not be identified to the USC Graduate School as fellowship nominees. Note: While many students who begin the Epstein ISE Doctoral Program will have completed a relevant MS or MA degree, exceptionally strong students may be admitted directly to the Doctoral Program based on completion of a relevant BS degree. Information on the Ph.D. application process can be found in the Ph.D. Handbook (pdf). Be sure to include all required materials in your application. We expect all applications to be completed, by these dates:
Admission Deadlines
- January 1st for Fall admission and to be considered for departmental support
- December 15th for Fall admission and to be considered for departmental, school and university support - this is the key deadline
For those applicants interested in fellowship support, all application materials should be received by December 15. Financial awards are only available in the fall semester.
