Postdoctoral research fellow in the Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Cesar Ruiz, has accepted a position as tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at Oklahoma University.
Ruiz has been working in the lab of Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering Qiang Huang on new methods to improve 3D printing accuracy. Along with Huang and Ph.D. candidate Yuanxiang Wang, Ruiz was recently honored with the IEEE Best Conference Paper Award at the 17th International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE), presented by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society in Lyon, France.
Ruiz will take up the new role in fall 2022.
