Dr. Kesselman received a dual BA/BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Buffalo in 1982, his MS in Electrical Engineering in 1984, and his Ph.D in Computer Science from UCLA in 1991. He has been recognized internationally for his work through publications and research, and is a USC Information Sciences Institute Fellow. He received an honorary doctorate from the University of Amsterdam in 2006.
