PhD Program

USC has choices for students with and without undergraduate ISE degrees. All choices give students the training and education they need within a short period of time. This page gives a brief introduction to USC's ISE Ph.D. program. The Ph.D. program prepares students for leadership in Industrial and Systems Engineering research and university-level education. In addition to meeting course requirements, students spend one or more years on Ph.D. dissertation research. Departmental policies for the Ph.D. are described in the Ph.D. Handbook (pdf).
